Cubs fans crying continues for Day 2

Wrigleyville bars will be lonely and sad tonight. They may be full but will sound more like a wake than a wedding ceremony. Their mighty Cubs losing yet another game in the playoffs, at home no less. All the pressure and weight of the north side of the city is apparently crushing this year's record setting team to pieces. The Dodgers are up 2-0 with up to 2 games remaining in L.A. and a possible 5th back at Wrigley.

Watching the camera scope over the crowd during the 7th and 8th innings it's become apparent to me that the fans are so crushed and any air was quickly taken out of their balloon this evening. Just too much negative energy by all Cubs fans. They think about some curse, or Bartman or whatever other BS excuse/great tradegy that helps them deal with their team going down 0-2. After an earlier post mocking the Cubs luck hoping to change the luck in game 2 with an Onion post, it's time to be positive.
It made me think of a great poem about focusing on the positive and ignoring the negative. Here are some exerpts of the Winner vs. Loser. Cubs fans: let's be winners! This series is NOT over yet! Keep dreaming Cubbies!

The Winner is always part of the answer; The Loser is always part of the problem.

The Winner sees an answer for every problem; The Loser sees a problem for every answer.

The Winner says," It may be difficult but it is possible";The Loser says,"It may be possible but it is too difficult."

Winners have dreams;Loser have schemes.

Winners say," I must do something";Losers say,"Something must be done."

Winners are a part of the team;Losers are apart from the team.

Winners see possibilities;Losers see problems.

Winners see the potential;Losers see the past.

Winners make it happen;Losers let it happen.
